🐺 Gorn the Pack Champion
Warrior — Werewolf
LAST UPDATED: APRIL 2026
LORE
“Leader of the Ironpelt Clan, Gorn lost his pack to a vampire ambush. He fights alone now — until someone earns his respect.”
Overview
Gorn the Pack Champion is the former leader of the Ironpelt Clan — a proud warrior reduced to a lone wolf after a vampire ambush wiped out his kin. He is one of the strongest early-game warrior companions and a natural fit for strength-scaling melee builds. Earning his trust is slow but rewarding: at maximum loyalty he unlocks the Ironpelt Armory, granting access to heavy werewolf-crafted armour otherwise unavailable in standard shops.
Background
The Ironpelt Clan was once one of the most feared werewolf warbands in the northern territories, and Gorn led them with a combination of brute strength and hard-won tactical wisdom earned through a dozen campaigns. Three seasons ago a vampire strike force ambushed the clan's winter camp under a false flag of parley, killing every member but Gorn, who survived only because he was scouting the ridgeline. He returned to smoke, silence, and scattered pelts — and something in his spirit calcified that night into something colder and harder than grief. Since then he has wandered Aeternum's borderlands alone, picking fights with vampire patrols and taking no allies, trusting no one until they prove themselves worthy of the pack's legacy. Recruit him and he will fight beside you — but earn the title of Blood Brother and he carries the weight of the Ironpelt name into every battle you share.

Recruitment Guide
To recruit Gorn the Pack Champion you must reach Level 10
and complete the recruitment quest chain (quest ID: 20).
The recruitment quest will become available in your quest log once the level
requirement is met — check the Quests
section of the wiki for full chain details.
TIP
Focus on completing the recruitment quest chain as soon as you hit the level requirement. Heroes recruited earlier have more time to accumulate loyalty, and even the level 1 loyalty bonus from Gorn the Pack Champion begins paying off immediately after recruitment.

Combat Tips
- Trigger Pack Roar when your HP drops below 50% — the doubled STR bonus transforms Gorn from a tank into a devastating counter-attacker at low health, turning near-death situations into momentum swings.
- Use Gorn on gold-generating hunt missions between battles; his passive +15% gold from hunts compounds quickly and funds equipment upgrades that benefit your entire roster.
- Stack VIT gear alongside STR to maximise his loyalty bonuses — the Pack Brother tier gives both +15% STR and +10% HP, so a well-balanced build amplifies both multipliers simultaneously.
Synergies
Gorn is ideal for werewolf-race players running warrior or berserker subclasses, where his STR bonuses stack directly with faction racial modifiers. He pairs well with Lyra Moonweaver in economy-focused builds: Gorn boosts hunt gold while Lyra amplifies gathering yields, together covering both the combat-income and resource-income loops. His Ironpelt Armory unlock at loyalty 3 is especially valuable for players who skip crafting skills, providing high-tier heavy armour that would otherwise require Master Recipes from Iron Krag.
