🧛♀️ Mira the Bloodmage
Mage — Vampire
LAST UPDATED: APRIL 2026
LORE
“Once a court mage of the Crimson Empire, Mira turned against her vampire lords when they sacrificed her village. She now fights for those with no voice.”
Overview
Mira the Bloodmage is a former court mage of the Crimson Empire who now stands against the vampire lords she once served. Fuelled by grief and righteous fury, she channels raw arcane energy through blood magic to devastate enemies in battle. She is one of the earliest heroes a player can recruit and remains a cornerstone of magic-focused builds throughout the mid game.
Background
Mira was born to a small village on the edge of Crimson Empire territory, gifted with an exceptional talent for arcane manipulation that earned her a place in the imperial court before her twentieth year. For a decade she served faithfully as a court mage, believing the vampire lords' promises of order and protection — until the night they sacrificed her entire village to fuel a forbidden ritual. She escaped only because she was away on an errand; returning to find ash where her home had stood broke something fundamental in her loyalty. Mira spent the next three years mastering the very blood magic the empire tried to keep as a noble secret, turning their own weapon against them. She now travels the fractured lands of Aeternum fighting for the voiceless — those who, like her family, have no champion of their own.

Recruitment Guide
To recruit Mira the Bloodmage you must reach Level 10
and complete the recruitment quest chain (quest ID: 10).
The recruitment quest will become available in your quest log once the level
requirement is met — check the Quests
section of the wiki for full chain details.
TIP
Focus on completing the recruitment quest chain as soon as you hit the level requirement. Heroes recruited earlier have more time to accumulate loyalty, and even the level 1 loyalty bonus from Mira the Bloodmage begins paying off immediately after recruitment.
Personal Quests
Mira the Bloodmage has 5 personal quests. Completing each quest contributes toward loyalty tier progression. Work through them in order — later quests unlock after earlier ones are complete. All quests raise loyalty toward the next tier; reaching 3 and 8 completed quests triggers tier upgrades.

Combat Tips
- Open with Crimson Nova in multi-enemy encounters — its 200% INT AoE damage clears weaker mobs instantly and softens elite targets for follow-up strikes.
- Pair Mira with intelligence-boosting equipment before difficult dungeons; her passive +10% XP bonus compounds over time, so the earlier you invest in her scaling, the faster your overall character progression.
- Save Crimson Nova for rounds 2–3 rather than opening with it — the 3-battle cooldown means timing it against elite waves or boss health thresholds maximises efficiency.
Synergies
Mira pairs exceptionally well with Vex the Heretic in dual-caster compositions, where Vex's Void Rupture strips enemy defences and Mira's Crimson Nova finishes grouped targets. Intelligence-stacking builds benefit most from her passive XP bonus, accelerating the levelling curve that unlocks higher-tier spells. Werewolf-aligned players who choose the Mage subclass also benefit from her Trusted loyalty tier granting access to the Bloodmage Arsenal, which contains vampiric-type reagents otherwise hard to obtain for non-vampire characters.
