Subclasses
At level 20, every character chooses a Subclass that defines their advanced combat identity. Vampires choose from Blood Mage, Shadow Assassin, or Dark Knight. Werewolves choose from Moon Warrior, Pack Shaman, or Berserker.

Subclass Overview
Subclasses are a major power amplification system unlocked at character level 20. Your subclass choice affects which passive bonuses you gain, what unique mechanics become available, and which item sets are available to you. Subclasses can be changed once per 30 days for free (or immediately with a Subclass Reset Token from the premium shop).
Each subclass has a Primary Stat — the most important stat to stack for that subclass. Items with subclass-specific drops (IDs 531–590) are listed per subclass below.
WARNING
Changing subclass does NOT reset skill points. However, any subclass-exclusive skills you had will become locked until you return to that subclass. You keep the skill points but cannot use those skills with a different subclass equipped.
Vampire Subclasses
Blood Mage
VampirePrimary Stat: INT (Intelligence)
Blood Mages channel the sanguine essence of their victims into arcane energy, dealing magical damage that partially bypasses physical DEF. They are the highest damage-per-round subclass in PvE and excel at melting through the armored undead and demon categories.
Unique Mechanic: Sanguine Conversion
Each point of lifesteal generates 1 "Blood Charge." At 10 charges, the Blood Mage automatically releases a Blood Explosion that deals INT × 3 bonus magic damage to the enemy. This resets charges to 0. Charges carry over between rounds.
Recommended Playstyle
Stack INT and lifesteal. Use the Seraphine Dusk hero for compounding lifesteal. Blood Mage is a glass cannon — maximize damage output and win before the enemy can sustain through it. Ideal for dungeon speed-clearing.
Subclass Item Drops: IDs 531–540 (Blood Mage Vestments, Sanguine Staff, Crimson Orb series)
Shadow Assassin
VampirePrimary Stat: DEX (Dexterity)
Shadow Assassins move between battles unseen and strike with lethal precision. They have the highest critical hit ceiling in the game and apply the Poison status effect on crits. Built for burst PvP — killing an opponent before they react is the entire gameplan.
Unique Mechanic: Venom Strike
Any critical hit has a 35% chance to apply Poison (deals 5% of target max HP as damage per round for 3 rounds). This stacks up to 3 times, potentially dealing 15% of max HP as Poison damage per round. At max stacks, this is lethal within 3–4 rounds even against high-DEF targets.
Recommended Playstyle
Stack DEX and LCK for maximum crit chance. Pair with Cain Hollows hero for first-round guaranteed crits. Use Shadow Covenant faction gear for additional backstab damage. Dominant in Arena PvP but weaker against tanky dungeon bosses.
Subclass Item Drops: IDs 541–550 (Shadow Cloak, Venom Blades, Assassin's Ring series)
Dark Knight
VampirePrimary Stat: STR + DEF (balanced)
The Dark Knight is the tank subclass for vampires, wearing the heaviest armor and absorbing punishment while dealing respectable melee damage. They are the go-to choice for dungeon progression on hardcore mode and for holding territory in Eclipse War.
Unique Mechanic: Undying Resolve
When the Dark Knight would be reduced to 0 HP, there is a 25% chance to instead survive at 1 HP with a 20% DEF buff for 2 rounds. This effect has a 60-minute cooldown per fight. At Prestige 3+, the activation chance increases to 40%.
Recommended Playstyle
Prioritize DEF and HP gear. Pair with Lord Morvaine hero for compounding damage reduction. Dark Knight is the most forgiving subclass for new players and the most resilient in extended content like Dungeon 9–10 and Eclipse War frontlines.
Subclass Item Drops: IDs 551–560 (Dread Plate series, Obsidian Shield, Void Greaves)
Werewolf Subclasses
Moon Warrior
WerewolfPrimary Stat: STR
Moon Warriors harness the lunar cycle to amplify their physical strikes. Under the Full Moon event (active for 48h every 2 weeks), their damage is increased by an additional 25%. Outside events, they are consistent all-round fighters suited for any content type.
Unique Mechanic: Lunar Empowerment
Every 5th round in combat, the Moon Warrior enters a Lunar Empowered state for 2 rounds, gaining +30% STR and +15% lifesteal. This is automatic and does not consume a skill slot. Lunar Empowerment can occur multiple times in long dungeon boss fights.
Recommended Playstyle
Stack STR and HP for a high-sustain fighter. Pair with Koda Stormfang for compounding STR buffs. Moon Warrior is the most versatile werewolf subclass and the best default choice for players new to the game who want consistent performance.
Subclass Item Drops: IDs 561–570 (Moonplate Armor, Silverlight Axe, Lunar Charm series)
Pack Shaman
WerewolfPrimary Stat: WIS (Wisdom)
Pack Shamans bridge the spiritual world and the battlefield, channeling totemic energy to heal, buff allies, and debuff enemies. In clan wars and the Eclipse War, a Pack Shaman's passive aura gives the entire party a notable defensive advantage.
Unique Mechanic: Totem Link
The Pack Shaman places an invisible Totem at the start of each fight. The Totem restores 6% of max HP to the player every 3 rounds. Additionally, in clan war events, all allied clan members within the same zone gain +8% DEF while a Pack Shaman is active.
Recommended Playstyle
Stack WIS and HP. The Pack Shaman is not the highest damage output but is the most self-sufficient subclass in PvE — capable of clearing dungeons with minimal potion use. In clan wars, their zone aura makes them irreplaceable support units.
Subclass Item Drops: IDs 571–580 (Shaman's Garb, Spirit Totem Staff, Ancestral Ring series)
Berserker
WerewolfPrimary Stat: STR + LCK
The Berserker is a high-risk, high-reward melee combatant who deals enormous damage at the cost of reduced DEF. Crits apply Bleed, which deals %HP damage — making Berserker the single best subclass for Cat 10–11 monsters who are resistant to elemental damage.
Unique Mechanic: Blood Frenzy
Every critical hit triggers Bleed on the enemy (3% max HP per round for 4 rounds, stackable to 5× for 15% HP/round). Additionally, after landing 3 consecutive hits without being hit back, the Berserker enters Blood Frenzy: +25% ATK and -15% DEF for 3 rounds.
Recommended Playstyle
Stack STR and LCK equally. Use Grull Ironmaw hero for compounding rage mechanics. Berserker is ideal for farming Cat 10–11 monsters and for high-damage PvP burst. It is unforgiving — if the enemy hits back hard, the reduced DEF can be fatal.
Subclass Item Drops: IDs 581–590 (Rage Pauldrons, Bloodlust Greatsword, Berserker's Brand ring)
How to Unlock Subclasses
Subclasses become available at character level 20. A quest notification will appear in your quest log automatically. You will be directed to your race's subclass trainer NPC in the capital city.
- Vampire trainer: "Archon Vael" in the Crimson Court Hall, capital district
- Werewolf trainer: "Elder Mara" in the Pack Council Lodge, highland capital
To unlock a subclass, you must:
- Reach character level 20
- Complete the "Awakening" quest (5-part chain given by your trainer)
- Defeat a subclass trial boss (unique to each subclass, levels 22–25)
- Choose your subclass at the Class Stone in the trainer's hall
TIP
You can preview all 3 subclasses during the Awakening quest before committing. The trial boss for each subclass is different, so complete all 3 trials before making your final choice to get a feel for each playstyle.
