Gold Sources

Gold is the primary currency in VvW. It is earned from multiple sources simultaneously — the best players maximize all of them in parallel.

WORK (DAILY)

~1,600 gold

Passive. 12-hour Elite shift at Level 65+. Zero effort.

DUNGEON CLEAR (DAILY)

500–3,000 gold

Boss gold drop + room loot. Higher dungeons = more gold.

DAILY QUESTS

200–600 gold

3 quests per day. Always complete these — fast and reliable.

AUCTION HOUSE SALES

Variable

Sell drops, crafted items, materials. Best gold ceiling.

PVP WIN GOLD

50–500 gold

Optional gold wager in arena. Win = collect both wagers.

EVENT REWARDS

1,000–10,000 gold

Blood Moon, Eclipse War chest, seasonal top-10 rewards.

Gold from Monsters

ZoneMonster TypeGold per KillStamina Cost
Zone 1–3Common5–15 gold1–2 stamina
Zone 4–6Uncommon20–45 gold2–3 stamina
Zone 7–9Elite60–120 gold3–4 stamina
Zone 10+Rare Elite150–300 gold5 stamina

LCK BONUS

Higher LCK slightly increases the gold drop from enemies. At 100 LCK, you earn roughly 10% more gold per kill. This stacks with the clan gold bonus.

Auction House

The Auction House (AH) is the player-to-player trading marketplace. Any player can list items, materials, and equipment for sale. Listings are visible to all players.

Listing an Item

  1. Open Auction House → "My Listings" tab
  2. Select the item from your inventory
  3. Set a buyout price (required) and optional starting bid
  4. Choose duration: 6h / 12h / 24h / 48h
  5. Pay the listing fee: 2% of buyout price (non-refundable)
  6. Item is listed immediately

UNDERCUT TIP

Check current listings before posting. Undercutting by 5–10% gets your item sold faster. Overnight 48h listings are best for rare items — more buyers will see them.

What Sells Best

  • Epic & Legendary gear — always high demand, especially weapons
  • Crafting materials — Iron Shards, Moonstone, Bloodcrystal — consistent demand
  • Dungeon Tokens — can be traded; high demand from players who grind dungeons
  • Enchanting Runes — good market, especially pre-event
  • Potions — steady demand from casual players

NPC Shop

The NPC Shop sells basic consumables and early-game gear at fixed prices. It is never the optimal source for mid/late game items, but is essential for new players who can't afford the Auction House.

CategoryItems AvailablePrice Range
PotionsMinor HP, Major HP, Mana Restore20–200 gold
Common GearIron Sword, Leather Armor, Basic Shield100–500 gold
Crafting BasicsIron Shard, Cloth, Wood10–50 gold each
ScrollsTeleport, Recall, Map Reveal50–150 gold
CosmeticsBasic name colors, simple avatars500–2,000 gold

TIP

Never buy potions from the NPC Shop in bulk. Crafted potions (via Alchemy) are 40–60% cheaper at the same heal value. Learn Basic Alchemy by Level 25.

Black Market

The Black Market is a rotating shop that refreshes every 48 hours. It offers rare items, exclusive cosmetics, and crafting recipes not available anywhere else. Stock is limited — items sell out.

Black Market Rules

  • Refreshes every 48 hours (Tuesday & Thursday at midnight server time)
  • Each player can purchase up to 3 items per refresh cycle
  • Items are priced in gold (and occasionally gems for exclusive items)
  • Once a stock item sells out, it's gone until the next refresh
  • Clan members get a 10-minute early access window before general players

Gems

Gems are the premium currency. They can be purchased with real money or earned in small amounts through gameplay. Gems are never required to be competitive — all combat-relevant content is accessible with gold.

Free Gem Sources

  • Daily Login Streak — Milestone days 7, 30, 90 reward 10–50 gems
  • Achievement System — completing major achievements rewards 5–25 gems
  • Seasonal Events — top finishers receive gem prizes
  • Dungeon First Clears — each dungeon's first-ever clear: 5 gems
  • Battle Pass — free tier rewards 30 gems over 30 days

AVOID

Don't spend gems on direct gold purchases — the gold-per-gem rate is terrible. Earn gold through dungeons and work instead. Gems are better spent on permanent account upgrades.

Gold Sinks

Gold sinks are the systems that consume gold from the economy. Understanding them helps you budget correctly and avoid running out at critical moments.

Gold SinkTypical CostPriority
Weapon upgrades (+1 ATK)500–5,000 goldHigh — always upgrade weapon first
Armor upgrades300–3,000 goldMedium — after weapon
Enchanting (per attempt)200–2,000 goldMedium — RNG, don't overinvest
Skill unlocks1,000–10,000 goldHigh — unlock your skill tree
Dungeon re-entry fee50–500 goldLow — only pay if close to clearing
Auction House listing fees2% of item valueLow — unavoidable cost of trading
Clan bank donationVoluntaryMedium — earns clan contribution points

Trading Tips

  • List overnight — 48h listings get more buyers than 6h ones; post before you sleep
  • Check demand before farming — check AH prices before deciding what material to farm
  • Craft to sell — crafted potions and Uncommon weapons sell reliably to new players
  • Buy low during events — players dump inventory during events to fund purchases; buy then, sell later
  • Never vendor rare+ items — vendor price is always worse than AH; even slow sales beat it
  • Watch the Black Market — if a BM recipe appears, buy it, craft it, and sell the output on AH for 2–3x profit
