🗡️ Seraph Shadowblade
Rogue — Any Race
LAST UPDATED: APRIL 2026
LORE
“She serves no faction. Seraph has stolen from vampire lords and werewolf warlords alike. She follows only gold — and the one bold enough to earn her loyalty.”
Overview
Seraph Shadowblade is a mercenary rogue who owes allegiance to no faction — only to gold and to those bold enough to earn her respect. She excels at single-target elimination and economy manipulation, offering both a devastating execute-threshold skill and significant shop discounts at higher loyalty. Her neutral race affinity means any player, vampire or werewolf, can recruit and benefit from her without faction penalty.
Background
No one knows Seraph's true origins — the story changes depending on who is asking and what she thinks will be most useful to say. What is certain is that she has stolen from both vampire noble houses and werewolf warlords, leaving behind only a calling card: a single black feather and a conspicuously empty strongbox. She is rumoured to have trained under three different guild masters across Aeternum before betraying each of them on principle — or possibly for profit. Seraph operates out of shifting safehouses in grey-market districts, offering her blade to whoever pays the most and asks the fewest questions. Those who do earn her loyalty discover she is not purely mercenary: beneath the icy pragmatism is a precise code of honour that she has simply never found worth explaining to anyone who could not already see it.

Recruitment Guide
To recruit Seraph Shadowblade you must reach Level 20
and complete the recruitment quest chain (quest ID: 30).
The recruitment quest will become available in your quest log once the level
requirement is met — check the Quests
section of the wiki for full chain details.
TIP
Focus on completing the recruitment quest chain as soon as you hit the level requirement. Heroes recruited earlier have more time to accumulate loyalty, and even the level 1 loyalty bonus from Seraph Shadowblade begins paying off immediately after recruitment.
Personal Quests
Seraph Shadowblade has 5 personal quests. Completing each quest contributes toward loyalty tier progression. Work through them in order — later quests unlock after earlier ones are complete. All quests raise loyalty toward the next tier; reaching 3 and 8 completed quests triggers tier upgrades.

Combat Tips
- Save Shadowstrike for targets below 30% HP to trigger the instant-kill threshold — coordinate your regular attacks to whittle enemies down before unleashing it for guaranteed eliminations on tough elites.
- Prioritise reaching loyalty level 2 as quickly as possible: the -10% shop price reduction stacks with her base +15% shop discount, making high-tier consumables and equipment significantly more accessible early.
- Use Seraph on PvP targets you intend to finish quickly — her DEX scaling pairs with high-crit builds, and the execute threshold turns close matches into decisive victories rather than grinding health races.
Synergies
Seraph excels alongside economy-focused builds where her shop discount and Auction House passive translate into faster gear progression than combat-only heroes offer. She pairs naturally with Commander Brutus in PvP compositions: Brutus's Tactical Strike ensures the next three attacks land, setting up Seraph's execute threshold at the optimal moment. Players running rogue or assassin subclasses stack DEX natively, directly amplifying Shadowstrike damage without additional investment, making her loyalty-level scaling especially efficient for those builds.
