Familiars & Spirits
Companions are persistent bonuses bonded to your character — not party members, but mystical extensions of your power. Every companion provides passive bonuses, a gather ability, and a skill tree that unlocks as they gain XP alongside you.

1. How Companions Work
Unlike Heroes who fight in combat, Companions are always-on passive entities. They cannot be killed and do not enter the battle grid. Instead, they apply their bonuses automatically to all of your activities — combat, gathering, and crafting.
Each companion has:
- Base Bonus — an always-active passive stat modifier (e.g., +8% life steal)
- Gathering Bonus — multiplies yields from gathering nodes
- Skill Tree — 5 skills unlocked at levels 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20
- Race Lock — some companions are restricted to Vampire or Werewolf characters
NOTE
You can own multiple companions, but only one companion can be active at a time. Switching companions has a 24-hour cooldown. Plan your active companion around your current activity — use gathering companions on farming days, combat companions for dungeon runs.
2. Levelling & XP
Companions gain XP passively whenever your character gains XP — they do not need to be "used." A companion gains 10% of your character XP each session. New skills unlock at levels 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20. Max companion level is 20.

XP boosts (from Battle Pass or items) also speed up companion levelling. The 10% transfer rate cannot be increased, but the raw XP you earn can be multiplied.

Bat FamiliarVampire
Base: +8% life steal on all attacks. Gather: +10% herb yield.
Lv 1 — Screech: −5% enemy DEF for 1 turn
Lv 5 — Blood Drain Assist: +12% life steal
Lv 10 — Bat Swarm: Extra attack at 30% ATK once per battle
Lv 15 — Echolocation: +15% enemy miss chance
Lv 20 — Shadow Form: Absorb 200 damage once per battle
Best for: Vampires who want life steal sustain in long fights.
Wolf SpiritWerewolf
Base: +10% STR on all attacks. Gather: +10% ore yield.
Lv 1 — Howl: +8% ATK for 2 turns at battle start
Lv 5 — Pack Instinct: +5% dmg per consecutive hit (stacks 3×)
Lv 10 — Feral Surge: +25% ATK when HP < 50%
Lv 15 — Alpha Bond: +10% to all Werewolf faction gains
Lv 20 — Primal Awakening: 1× per battle, bypass all DEF for one attack
Best for: Berserker builds — synergises with low-HP rage mechanics.
Owl SageAny race
Base: +12% XP gain from all sources. Gather: +15% all gathering yields.
Lv 1 — Wisdom: +5% XP per battle
Lv 5 — Foresight: Reveal enemy stats before battle
Lv 10 — Scholar's Eye: +20% XP from quests
Lv 15 — Ancient Knowledge: Skill cooldowns reduced by 1 turn
Lv 20 — Omniscience: +25% XP gain and +10% Gold from all sources
Best for: Levelling phases and casual players who want faster progression.
Serpent ShadeVampire
Base: +15% poison damage dealt. Gather: +20% rare herb chance.
Lv 1 — Venom Coat: 20% chance to apply poison on hit
Lv 5 — Toxic Aura: Enemies lose 3% HP per turn from passive toxin
Lv 10 — Shed Skin: Remove one debuff from yourself each battle
Lv 15 — Constrict: Reduce enemy ATK by 10% for 3 turns
Lv 20 — Death Venom: Stacks to 50% HP lost over 5 turns — execute at 10%
Best for: Shadow Assassin DoT builds with Poison Fang skill.
Stag of the GroveWerewolf
Base: +15% gathering speed. Gather: +25% wood and herb yield.
Lv 1 — Nature's Blessing: +10% HP regen outside combat
Lv 5 — Forest Bond: Gathering nodes respawn 20% faster for you
Lv 10 — Verdant Surge: +5% DEF from nature connection
Lv 15 — Ancient Grove: Rare materials appear in 15% of gather attempts
Lv 20 — Grove Guardian: Once per day, instantly restore 30% HP mid-battle
Best for: Economy-focused Werewolves who farm gathering for profit.
Death WraithVampire
Base: +10% damage when killing blow. Gather: +10% dungeon material drop rate.
Lv 1 — Soul Sap: Steal 5% enemy max HP on kill
Lv 5 — Spectral Shroud: 10% chance to dodge any attack
Lv 10 — Wraith Form: Cannot be critically hit once per battle
Lv 15 — Life Rend: Instantly deal 8% enemy max HP as true damage
Lv 20 — Reaper's Pact: If you die, revive once at 30% HP (1× per dungeon)
Best for: Dark Knight builds — the Reaper's Pact revive synergises with tank playstyle.
Iron BearWerewolf
Base: +12% max HP. Gather: +20% stone and ore yield.
Lv 1 — Thick Hide: +8% DEF at battle start
Lv 5 — Roar: Fear effect — enemy misses first attack 30% of the time
Lv 10 — Endure: Damage taken reduced by 15% while below 40% HP
Lv 15 — Titan Grip: +20% STR for 3 turns at will
Lv 20 — Unstoppable: Cannot be stunned or slowed; +15% all physical damage
Best for: Berserker builds — the HP and STR passives stack with rage mechanics perfectly.
Moon SpriteAny race
Base: +20% damage during Blood Moon and Eclipse events. Gather: +30% event material yield.
Lv 1 — Lunar Pulse: +10% ATK during night hours (18:00–06:00 server time)
Lv 5 — Moonbeam: 15% chance to heal 5% HP on each attack at night
Lv 10 — Eclipse Empowerment: +30% all stats during active Eclipse events
Lv 15 — Celestial Ward: Immune to debuffs during event periods
Lv 20 — Full Moon Ascension: Once per Eclipse: +50% ATK and DEF for 5 turns
Best for: Competitive players who participate in every Eclipse War and seasonal event.
Arcane SpriteAny race
Base: +15% skill damage and −10% skill cooldowns. Gather: +15% rune shard drop rate.
Lv 1 — Mana Surge: First skill used each battle deals +20% damage
Lv 5 — Arcane Bond: Reduce all skill costs by 1 MP
Lv 10 — Overcharge: 15% chance to cast any skill twice in one turn
Lv 15 — Spell Echo: Your last skill repeats at 50% power at end of battle
Lv 20 — Arcane Apex: +25% skill damage; passive: regain 1 MP per turn in battle
Best for: Blood Mage — doubles down on skill damage and cooldown reduction.
Storm HawkAny race
Base: +12% DEX and +8% gold drop rate. Gather: +25% all yields (scales with Prestige rank).
Lv 1 — Talon Strike: +15% critical hit damage
Lv 5 — Wind Rider: +10% dodge and +10% speed in PvP turn order
Lv 10 — Eagle Eye: See enemy skill rotations 1 turn in advance
Lv 15 — Storm Dive: Once per battle: guaranteed critical hit for 180% ATK
Lv 20 — Apex Predator: +20% DEX; critical hits also apply a 2-turn bleed for 10% HP
Best for: Shadow Assassin Prestige builds — the crit synergy is unmatched at max level.
4. Which Companion to Choose

5. Tips & Tricks
- Switch before events: Activate Moon Sprite at least 24h before a Blood Moon event to avoid the cooldown locking you out.
- Level passively: All companions level at the same rate whether active or not — there's no benefit to switching just to level a specific companion faster.
- Unlock early: Even if you'll switch later, unlock Bat Familiar or Wolf Spirit at level 1 to start accumulating XP toward higher-tier companions.
- Storm Hawk timing: The guaranteed crit (Lv 20) has a once-per-battle timer — always use it on your opener, ideally on the first hit of Veil Strike for Shadow Assassins.
- Dual-purpose companions: If you split time between gathering and dungeons, Arcane Sprite's rune shard bonus makes it a good compromise — rune shards are valuable and the skill damage helps in combat.
