Overview
Sage Mireth is a ghost — or rather, was a scholar, and has remained in the Ghostly Ruins as a spirit for forty years rather than pass on, driven by the urgent need to recover knowledge she considers too important to abandon. She assigns quests involving the retrieval of lost texts, the deciphering of ancient inscriptions, and the locating of individuals who possess information she needs. She is helpful, driven, and occasionally forgets she is dead.
Background & History
Mireth was a professor of historical linguistics at the Ashford Academy who died in a vampire raid on the ruins she was studying. The raid was not targeted at her — she was simply inconveniently present. She refused to move on because she was in the middle of deciphering an inscription that turned out to be a key component of pre-war historical record. She has since finished the inscription but found that it raised more questions than it answered, which is how she has justified remaining for four decades. She communicates clearly and is generally cooperative; she simply refuses to discuss her departure timeline.
Personality & Allegiances
Academic to the point of social obliviousness, intensely focused on intellectual problems, and quietly anxious about the knowledge she might fail to recover before — she does not finish this sentence.

Interaction & Tips
Sage Mireth's quest chain is the primary source of Codex entries for pre-war history. Her final quest rewards the Scholar's Spectacles — a unique accessory that reveals hidden lore text on ancient items.
