Overview
Packsmith Urk runs the primary smithing operation in the Sunken Village, working with salvaged metal from flooded ruins to produce serviceable and occasionally exceptional equipment for werewolf adventurers and neutral travelers. He is not refined, not particularly social, and extremely good at his job. His forge has operated continuously for twelve years in conditions that would have shut down any conventional smithy.
Background & History
Urk learned smithing from his mother in a different pack territory before a dispute — the nature of which he does not discuss — drove him out. He arrived in the Sunken Village with a hammer and a reference for quality work, and established his forge using metal salvaged from the ruins below the waterline. The Sunken Village's unique metallurgical mix gives his work specific properties, particularly corrosion resistance and weight distribution, that conventional smiths cannot replicate. He now employs two apprentices and maintains a waiting list for custom commissions.
Personality & Allegiances
Taciturn in the way of craftsmen who find actions more eloquent than words. He is fair with pricing, does not haggle, and will not produce work he considers below standard regardless of deadline.
Vampire affinity: 20% | Werewolf affinity: 80%
