Korvin served eight years as a line soldier in the vampire territorial forces before a wound retired him from active service. The wound healed; his appetite for combat did not. He spent the recovery period calculating that the adventurers who survived the Eternal Void spent significant gold on equipment and that nobody was conveniently supplying them. He used his military contacts to establish a supply chain and opened the outpost vendor operation six years ago.
