How Weekly Challenges Work

Every Monday at server reset, 30 new weekly challenges appear in your Challenge Log. Each challenge has a specific objective, a difficulty rating (Easy, Medium, or Hard), and a reward. You have exactly 7 days to complete as many challenges as you can before they reset. Uncompleted challenges expire and cannot be carried over to the next week.

Each week, you receive a random selection from the full challenge pool. The distribution is approximately 10 Easy, 12 Medium, and 8 Hard challenges. You do not need to complete all 30 to benefit; even completing 15-20 challenges earns the majority of available rewards. However, completing all 30 unlocks a Weekly Champion bonus chest containing additional gold, gems, and a rare item.

Reward Tiers: Completion Milestones

Beyond individual challenge rewards, there are milestone bonuses for completing a certain number of challenges each week:

  • 5 challenges completed: Bonus 1,000 gold + 50 BP XP
  • 10 challenges completed: Bonus 3,000 gold + 5 gems + 100 BP XP
  • 15 challenges completed: Bonus 5,000 gold + 10 gems + 200 BP XP
  • 20 challenges completed: Bonus 8,000 gold + 15 gems + 300 BP XP
  • 25 challenges completed: Bonus 10,000 gold + 25 gems + 400 BP XP
  • 30 challenges completed (all): Weekly Champion Chest (rare/epic item + 20,000 gold + 50 gems + 500 BP XP)

The total value of completing all 30 challenges plus milestones is approximately 150,000+ gold, 200+ gems, 10,000+ XP, and 4,500+ Battle Pass XP. This makes weekly challenges the single best source of Battle Pass progression and one of the best gold sources in the game.

BATTLE PASS NOTE

Each challenge grants 100-200 Battle Pass XP. Completing all 30 challenges earns approximately 4,500 BP XP per week. A full Battle Pass requires roughly 10,000 BP XP, meaning weekly challenges alone can complete nearly half the Battle Pass each week. Combined with dailies, you can complete the Battle Pass in 3-4 weeks.

Optimal Completion Order

Not all challenges are created equal. Some complete themselves through normal gameplay while others require dedicated effort. Here is the optimal order to tackle weekly challenges:

Phase 1: Passive Challenges (Days 1-2)

Start with challenges that complete naturally during your daily routine: Monster Slayer (kill 100 monsters), Login Dedication (3-day streak), XP Grinder (gain 5,000 XP), and Companion Trainer (win 20 battles with companion). These require zero additional effort if you are already doing dailies and dungeons. Simply be aware they exist and they will tick upward.

Phase 2: Efficient Stacking (Days 2-4)

Next, tackle challenges that overlap with each other. Running dungeons completes Dungeon Diver, Boss Hunter, and contributes to Monster Slayer simultaneously. A single Infinity Tower session clears Tower Climber and contributes to Monster Slayer and XP Grinder. Crafting 5 items while socketing 3 runes clears both Artisan and Rune Crafter in one workshop session.

Phase 3: Targeted Completion (Days 4-6)

Focus on medium and hard challenges that need dedicated sessions: PvP Warrior (10 PvP wins), Elite Slayer (5 elite kills), Mythic Runner (Mythic+5 clear). These require specific activities but are manageable within a single focused session each.

Phase 4: Cleanup (Day 7)

On the final day, check your Challenge Log for any remaining incomplete challenges. The easiest ones to finish last-minute are Resource Gatherer (gather 20 resources), World Explorer (visit 10 locations), and Merchant Traveler (buy from 3 shops). These can be done in 15-20 minutes each.

TIME OPTIMIZATION

The most efficient players complete 20-25 challenges without any extra effort beyond their normal daily routine. The remaining 5-10 challenges require 1-2 additional focused sessions per week. If you are short on time, aim for the 20-challenge milestone (8,000 gold + 15 gems bonus) as the effort-to-reward sweet spot.

Tips for Hard Challenges

Hard challenges provide the best individual rewards (up to 10,000 gold + 25 gems) but require significant effort. Here are tips for the trickiest ones:

  • Dedicated Player (15 daily missions): This requires completing all 3 dailies for 5 out of 7 days. Manageable if you log in daily but easy to miss. Set a reminder.
  • Arena Dominator (100,000 PvP damage): Burst damage builds complete this faster. Play 10-15 arena matches throughout the week and you will hit 100,000 total damage naturally.
  • Tower Legend (Floor 25): Requires a well-geared character at level 50+. If your gear is not there yet, skip this challenge and focus on easier ones. See our Infinity Tower Guide for floor strategies.
  • Raid Champion (50,000 raid damage): Participate in the weekly raid boss event. Even moderate damage dealers can hit 50,000 over multiple sessions. See our Raid Boss Guide.
  • Mythic Runner (Mythic+5): Requires a coordinated party or strong solo build. If you cannot clear Mythic+5 yet, the Mythic+ Guide has progression strategies.

Weekly Routine Integration

Here is a sample weekly schedule that completes 25-30 challenges with minimal extra effort:

  • Monday: Check challenge list. Do dailies + dungeon runs (4-5 challenges start progressing).
  • Tuesday-Wednesday: Dailies + PvP session + crafting session (8-12 challenges progressing).
  • Thursday: Infinity Tower push + raid boss attempt (15-18 challenges done).
  • Friday-Saturday: Dailies + focused challenge completion for any remaining targets (20-25 done).
  • Sunday: Cleanup day. Finish remaining easy challenges, visit shops, gather resources (25-30 done).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do weekly challenges reset if I complete them early?

No. Once completed, a challenge stays completed for the rest of the week. You cannot redo challenges for extra rewards. The full list resets every Monday at server reset.

Can I reroll a challenge I do not want?

Currently no. You receive a fixed set of 30 challenges each week. If a challenge is too difficult (e.g., Tower Legend when you are underleveled), simply skip it and focus on the other 29.

Is it worth completing all 30 for the Weekly Champion Chest?

Yes, if you can do it without burnout. The Weekly Champion Chest contains 20,000 gold, 50 gems, 500 BP XP, and a guaranteed rare/epic item. However, the effort gap between 25 and 30 challenges is often larger than between 20 and 25, because the last few challenges tend to be the hardest ones you have been avoiding.

Do weekly challenges count toward daily mission completion?

Weekly challenges and daily missions are separate systems. However, many activities (killing monsters, running dungeons, PvP battles) progress both simultaneously. This overlap is what makes the weekly system so efficient when combined with your daily routine.
