Blood Moon Farming Guide — Max Loot in 2026

Blood Moon is a recurring event in Aeternum. It makes monsters stronger. It also makes rewards richer. This guide shows you how to farm it for maximum loot.

When Blood Moon Happens

Blood Moon runs on Days 13 and 14 of every month. Each event lasts 48 hours. Mark your calendar so you don't miss it.

What Changes During Blood Moon

Three bonuses kick in the moment the event starts:

Two special materials only drop during this window: Blood Moon Essence and Blood Moon Shard. Grab as many as you can before the event ends.

Best Farming Route

Follow these steps for an efficient farming loop:

  1. Start at your usual grinding zone and clear trash mobs first.
  2. Track down Blood Moon-themed monsters — they drop the event-only materials.
  3. Bank your loot often. Don't risk losing it in a PvP fight.
  4. Repeat the loop until the 48-hour window closes.

Boss Fight: Blood Moon Avatar

The Blood Moon Avatar is a level 50 boss. It has 1,500 HP, 70 strength, 38 defense, 35 dexterity, and 22 luck. It hits hard, so bring a group.

The Avatar uses four skills. Learn them before you engage:

Defeating it pays off. Every kill drops 400 to 650 gold, 1,200 XP, and a Moon Crystal Fragment. There is also an 80% chance at a Demon Shard.

PvP Flag Tips

Blood Moon overlaps with faction combat, so PvP flag strategy matters here. The 2x ELO multiplier means every ranked win counts double. Fight smart, not just often.

The Annual Blood Moon Festival

Once a year, the Blood Moon Festival supercharges the event. In 2026, it ran from August 7 to August 21. During the festival, bonuses rise to +30% XP and +25% gold. Exclusive bosses and faction-specific events also appear. The festival uses its own currency, the Blood Moon Token, so save yours for its special rewards.
