Alpha Bloodfang is not one individual but a title passed through the Conclave's most powerful warriors for 3,000 years. The original Alpha Bloodfang was the first werewolf to master the Shapeshift — using it in combat rather than fleeing it. The current Alpha Bloodfang (encountered in the Howling Forest zone boss fight) is the 47th to hold the title. Each Alpha is chosen by the pack through a ritual combat that tests not just strength but wisdom and restraint.
