Timeline of Aeternum — From Sundering to Modern Day

Aeternum's recorded history spans 3 200+ years, divided into Five Ages: First Twilight (pre-Sundering), Sundering (Year 0), Founding Age (1-450), Long War (450-2700), Iron Treaty Era (2700-present). Each age shaped one major in-game system.

First Twilight (pre-Sundering)

The Twilightborn era. Lunara's gardens at the world's edge. No vampires, no werewolves — only ancestors. Ended when the Twilightborn first tasted bone and discovered hunger.

Sundering (Year 0)

Lunara split immortality into blood and beast. Five Twilightborn took oaths and became the First Vampires; five others bared their throats to the moon and became the First Werewolves. Lunara fell silent.

Founding Age (Year 1-450)

Five Vampire Houses established. Five Werewolf Clans established. Both species lived in distant peace. Trade routes formed. The Eclipse Stone (neutral ground) was carved during this era.

Long War (Year 450-2700)

Territorial disputes escalated into formal conflict. Three vampire Houses extinct (House Solas, House Marrow, House Stoneblood). Two werewolf Clans extinct (Clan Riverforge, Clan Goldhowl). Both species faced extinction by 2680.

Iron Treaty Era (Year 2700-present)

Treaty signed under flag of truce after Eclipse War. Lunara's last priestess died during signing — taken as omen. Modern Aeternum exists under Treaty terms.
