The legendary vampire lord who rules the Covenant and serves as the ultimate antagonist of VvW lore.
Lord Aeternum is believed to be 10,000 years old — the oldest living being in the known world. He rules the Covenant from the Aeternum Citadel with absolute authority. His true motivations are unclear even to his own faction: some believe he seeks eternal peace through dominion, others that he prepares for a final war against the Void itself. Defeating him in the dungeon reveals a lore cutscene suggesting he is not entirely villainous.
