Clan Territory Control & Eclipse War
Eclipse War is the seasonal large-scale PvP event where clans fight for territory tiles. Each tile grants passive bonuses to the holding clan (gold, XP, crafting). Battles last 24-hour windows; defenders have advantage during off-peak hours.
Tile ownership mechanics
Map has 200 contestable tiles. Holding clan gets +5-15% bonus depending on tier. Tile changes hands on win condition: holding clan defeated 3 times in 24h, OR siege initiated and not contested for 6h.
Defender advantage
Holding tiles spawns NPC guards (scaling with tier). Defenders fight in their preferred time zone (clan declares 'peak hours' in tile settings). Attackers can't pick the time fully.
Strategic priorities
Border tiles (high-traffic) > inner tiles (safer). Crafting-bonus tiles > XP-bonus (gold compounds). Diplomatic alliances reduce wasted fights; non-aggression pacts span entire seasons.
