How to Prestige Without Losing Progress
Quick answer: Prestige resets you to Lv1 but you keep gear, gold, recipes, achievements, mounts, skill ranks. You lose temporary buffs, current XP, and skill points (refunded). Prestige once at Lv50 to unlock endgame; subsequent prestiges grant permanent +2% stats per level. Cap: Prestige 10.
The 5 Steps
Reach Lv50 with all content cleared
Don't prestige early. Complete one full weekly raid clear, all dungeons cleared once, story finished. Prestige is irreversible per session — save 'first prestige' for after content completion.
Stockpile resources before prestige
Buy 30 healing potions, 20 XP boosters, 5 mid-tier weapons (you'll re-equip as you re-level). Total cost ~10k gold. Saves 2-3 hours of re-grinding.
Visit the Prestige Altar at Aeternum capital
Located in central Aeternum. Talk to High Priest Velian. Confirm prestige twice (anti-misclick). Cinematic plays. Character resets to Lv1.
Re-level using your saved gear (12 hours)
Equip the mid-tier weapons you saved. Run the bracket-by-bracket levelling plan from /how-to/how-to-make-gold-fast.html. ~12 hours focused or ~25 hours casual.
Unlock your prestige skill at Lv50
Each prestige tier unlocks one signature skill. Vampire prestige 1: Crimson Awakening. Werewolf prestige 1: Pack Bond. See /wiki/skills.html for full prestige skill list.
