Current Meta (May 2026)
As of the v1.4 patch, the faction balance sits at about 52% vampire and 48% werewolf. Werewolf is the minority faction right now. That means werewolf players get a +8% XP bonus from all sources.
In competitive PvP (top 1% ladder), vampires hold a slight edge in 1v1. Werewolves lead in 3v3 and clan war formats. For casual players, this difference barely matters.
The Trial Character Option
Before you commit, try a trial character of either race. Trial characters are capped at level 5. They can't access endgame systems. But they do let you feel the basic combat of each race. Try both, then delete the trials. After that, create your main character with confidence.
To create a trial character: Account → Characters → Create New → Enable "Trial Mode."
