Double-XP Weekend

Every battle, quest, and dungeon run awards twice the normal experience. The fastest way to close a leveling gap before a new season.

Faction War Weekend

Vampires and Werewolves clash for control of contested zones. Earn war medals and push your faction rank on the seasonal ladder.

Blood Moon Night

The signature server event: crimson skies, +25% XP, boosted rare drops, and limited Crimson cosmetics that never return once the moon sets.

Seasonal Reset

Roughly every three months a new season launches with fresh leaderboards, seasonal-only rewards, and a balance patch. Permanent unlocks are kept.

When is the next in-game event?
Events follow a fixed weekly and monthly cadence. Double-XP runs the first weekend of each month, Faction War the second weekend, and Blood Moon Night the last weekend. The next live event is always highlighted in the Next Up banner at the top of this page. Times are in UTC — convert to your local zone.
Are the events free to join?
Yes. Every scheduled event — Blood Moon Night, Faction War Weekend, Double-XP, world-boss raids, and seasonal launches — is free for all players. No ticket, entry fee, or premium purchase is required to participate.
What time zone are the event times in?
All start and end times on this page are listed in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Because VvW runs on a single global server clock, event windows begin at the same moment worldwide — just convert the UTC time to your local zone.
Do event rewards reset between seasons?
Seasonal leaderboard placements and seasonal-only rewards reset at each seasonal launch (roughly quarterly). Permanent unlocks such as cosmetics, titles, and account achievements earned during events are kept forever and do not reset.
How often do recurring events repeat?
Weekly buffs rotate every week, the three flagship weekend events recur once per month on fixed weekends, and full seasonal resets occur roughly every three months. Dates on this page are illustrative of the recurring pattern and may shift by a day around holidays.
