Optimized leveling build for secondary characters in VvW 2026 — reach max level in under 15 hours.
Heirloom gear
Equip Heirloom items on your alt (unlocked from main character achievement at level 40). They scale to your level with +25% XP bonus.
XP sources
Daily quests (3×) + Dungeon Finder (3× bonus XP for first dungeon/day) + main story quests = fastest path.
Skill priority
Put all first 5 skill points into your best single-target DPS skill. Fast kill speed = fast questing speed.
Zone routing
L1-15: Starter Zone (don't linger). L15-30: Shadowfen (dense quests). L30-50: Ashveil Wastes. L50-60: Eternal Highlands.
Comeback bonus
New alts on accounts 90+ days old get 2× XP for 24h from /claimcomeback command. Stack with Heirloom bonus.
Time target
With this setup: Level 60 in 12–15 hours over 3–4 days at 3–4 hours/day. Pure speedrun record: 9h 42m.
