Infinity Tower — Deep Dive

The Tower is VvW's primary solo endgame challenge. Each floor is a self-contained encounter — wave clears, boss fights, and puzzle rooms. Floors reset weekly, meaning your progress this week doesn't carry to next week's iteration.

Floor Milestone Rewards

Weekly Chest

Every week, you receive a chest at your personal best floor. If you reached floor 78 last week, your chest quality matches floor 78 rewards. This makes the Tower's reward structure highly consistent — you always know what you're farming toward.

Crafting Mat Efficiency

The Tower is the best source of Essence Fragments and Void Shards — both required for crafting epic and legendary gear. Per-hour yield is roughly 4x higher than Mythic+ for these specific materials. If you're actively crafting, the Tower is mandatory.

Mythic+ Dungeons — Deep Dive

Mythic+ requires a group of 5 and scales in difficulty via Keystone levels. Higher keystones mean harder affixes, tighter timers, and better loot. The system rewards consistent group coordination over raw individual power.

Keystone Rewards by Level

Affix System

Each Keystone has 2–3 affixes — modifiers that change dungeon mechanics. Common affixes: Bolstering (enemies empower nearby allies on death), Sanguine (enemies heal in their blood pools), Necrotic (stacking armor reduction on tank). Learning affix rotations is essential for consistent M+10+ performance.

Group Dependency

Mythic+ has a significant variance factor: your group's skill matters as much as your own. Finding reliable teammates via the Guild Finder or a regular static group dramatically increases your weekly key level progression.

The Verdict

Which Should You Run?

For legendary gear: Mythic+. The only source of in-run Legendary drops is M+15+. If you need the absolute best gear, you need a group and you need high keys.

For crafting materials: Tower. 4x the Essence Fragments and Void Shards per hour. Non-negotiable if you're a crafter.

For consistency and solo play: Tower. Guaranteed drops, no group needed, no timer stress.

Optimal weekly routine: Tower to floor 80+ for materials + weekly chest, then 4 Mythic+ runs for the weekly vault. Both modes complement each other — running only one is leaving rewards on the table.

Time Investment Analysis

Based on 200 tracked runs of each mode:

Tip: Stack Your Weekly

Do Tower on Tuesday–Wednesday (reset day), then Mythic+ runs Thursday–Sunday. This ensures your crafting materials are available for the weekly crafting cycle and your vault chest collects from the full week of M+ runs.

Both modes are worth running every week. The Tower rewards solo players and crafters; Mythic+ rewards coordinated groups chasing the highest item levels. Skipping either leaves meaningful weekly rewards uncollected.

Check the Item Database to see which specific legendary drops come from which M+ dungeons, and plan your key priorities accordingly.
