VvW Seasonal Content Calendar 2026 — All Events & Updates

Full seasonal content calendar for Vampires vs. Werewolves 2026 — all planned events, patches, and limited-time content by month.

VvW runs on two layers of live content: a set of recurring monthly events that repeat every cycle (Blood Moon and Eclipse War), and a slate of dated, once-a-year seasonal events tied to real calendar seasons. This is the complete 2026 calendar for both layers, with dates, bonuses, and currencies as confirmed in the current live-events configuration.

Recurring monthly events (every month, all year)

Blood Moon (Tier B) — runs days 13-14 of every month for 48 hours. Monsters hit harder but drop better: +25% XP, +20% gold, and a 2.0x multiplier on PvP ELO gains. Special drops during the window include Blood Moon Essence and Blood Moon Shards, both used in crafting and gear upgrades.

Eclipse War (Tier B) — runs days 1-7 of every month for a full 168 hours (7 days). This is the monthly faction conflict between Vampires and Werewolves, with a 2.0x PvP XP multiplier active for the entire week. If you're grinding PvP XP or faction standing, the first week of every month is consistently the best time to do it.

2026 seasonal events, month by month

March — Spring Awakening (Mar 19-31, Tier A)

Nature awakens across Aeternum. Spring Sprites appear in every zone offering unique quests, with a +15% gold and +10% XP bonus active for the full window. The event currency is Spring Essence — any left unspent at event close is automatically converted to standard Gems at a 10:1 ratio, so there's no risk of wasted currency if you can't finish your shop list in time.

April — Clan War Season 1 (Apr 1-28, Tier S)

The first of three Clan War seasons in 2026, this is the highest-tier (S) event on the calendar. Clans battle weekly for territory control across the full month. If your clan is planning a serious push for the annual champion title, Season 1 sets the early tone for clan rankings that carry reputation into Seasons 2 and 3 later in the year.

June-July — Summer Solstice (Jun 20 – Jul 4, Tier A)

The longest day of the year strengthens both factions with a 2.0x dungeon loot multiplier for the entire window. Patch 1.5 shipped alongside this event with the dedicated Solar Forge Dungeon (fire-elemental bosses, Item Level 92 Sunforged gear set with +10% fire damage). With double dungeon loot active, this is the single best two-week stretch of the year to farm dungeon gear.

August — Blood Moon Festival (Aug 7-21, Tier A) and Clan War Season 2 (Aug 1-31, Tier S)

August is the busiest month on the calendar, running two major events simultaneously. The Blood Moon Festival amplifies the normal monthly Blood Moon effect with +30% XP and +25% gold, exclusive bosses, and faction-specific content, using Blood Moon Tokens as its event currency. Clan War Season 2 overlaps for the full month, so clans that coordinate their Blood Moon Festival grinding around their weekly War schedule get the most value out of both systems running at once.

October-November — Night of Horrors (Oct 22 – Nov 4, Tier A)

Aeternum's Halloween event: Pumpkin Golems, Banshees, and Specters roam every zone, and a +50% epic drop multiplier is active for the full two weeks. The event currency is Soul Shards, spent in a dedicated cosmetic shop — Pumpkin Helmet (200), Bat Wings Frame (500), Ghost Aura (400), the Cursed Title (600), Jack-o-Lantern Pet (800), and a Spooky Sound Pack (300). There's also a special Haunted Crypt dungeon exclusive to the event window.

November — Clan War Season 3 (Nov 1-30, Tier S)

The final Clan War season of the year, and the one that decides the annual champion title. This overlaps the tail end of Night of Horrors, so plan your clan's War commitments around the Halloween event's Soul Shard farming if you're chasing both.

December-January — Winter Hunt (Dec 18 – Jan 8, Tier A)

The year closes with snow blanketing Aeternum: a PvP truce in the overworld, a +30% XP bonus, and a 21-day Advent Calendar handing out daily rewards through the full run. The event currency is Frost Crystals, and there's a special boss, The Winter Wolf, exclusive to the window. Because it spans the New Year, Winter Hunt is the one seasonal event that straddles two calendar years — don't assume it ends December 31.

Notice the tiering pattern: all three Clan War seasons carry the top S tier, while every other named seasonal event sits at A tier. The recurring Blood Moon and Eclipse War cycles sit at B tier by comparison — still worth building into a weekly routine, but not the calendar's headline content the way the Clan War seasons and the four A-tier seasonal windows are.

Gaps in the calendar: February, May, September

Not every month gets a dedicated Tier-A/S seasonal event — February, May, and September currently have no named seasonal event beyond the recurring Blood Moon and Eclipse War cycles. These are traditionally the best months to catch up on backlog content (Tower climbing, gear crafting, faction reputation grinding) without a limited-time event competing for your play time.

Weekly and daily bonus layers underneath the calendar

Independent of the monthly and seasonal calendar, VvW runs six rotating weekly challenges (Monster Hunter, Dungeon Crawler, Arena Champion, Master Crafter, Daily Devotion, Gold Rush) each with its own reward, plus six fixed daily bonus windows in UTC: Midnight Hunt (00:00, +15% XP/Loot, 2h), Morning Rush (08:00, +10% Gold, 1h), Noon Duel (12:00, PvP +5 ELO bonus, 1h), Happy Hour (17:00, -10% NPC shop prices, 2h), Night Raid (20:00, dungeon bosses drop extra loot, 3h), and Last Hour Frenzy (22:00, +20% all bonuses, 1h). These stack with whatever seasonal event is active, so timing your play sessions around both layers compounds meaningfully — playing during Last Hour Frenzy inside a Blood Moon window during Clan War season is the single highest-value hour on the entire 2026 calendar.

How to plan around the calendar

If you can only commit real time to a handful of events this year, prioritize the three Clan War seasons (April, August, November) if you're in an active clan, the Summer Solstice's double dungeon loot window for gearing, and Night of Horrors for the exclusive Cursed Title cosmetic and Haunted Crypt dungeon. The recurring Blood Moon and Eclipse War cycles are worth building into your regular weekly routine year-round rather than treating as special occasions, since they repeat every single month without exception.

Frequently asked questions

Do seasonal events overlap with the monthly Blood Moon and Eclipse War? Yes — Blood Moon and Eclipse War run on a fixed monthly schedule regardless of what seasonal event is active, so they layer on top of everything else on this calendar.

What happens to unspent event currency when an event ends? It varies by event — Spring Awakening's Spring Essence explicitly converts to Gems at 10:1 automatically, but always check an event's shop before it closes since not all currencies auto-convert.

Which season has the most total events? August, with the Blood Moon Festival and Clan War Season 2 running simultaneously for the entire month.

Is Winter Hunt a 2026 or 2027 event? Both — it starts December 18, 2026 and runs through January 8, 2027, so it's the one event that spans the calendar year boundary.

Are there any events in February, May, or September? Not currently — those months only carry the standard recurring Blood Moon and Eclipse War cycles, making them good catch-up months for non-event content.

Do event bonuses stack with the recurring Blood Moon multiplier? Yes, when the dates overlap. The Blood Moon Festival in August is a good example — it explicitly amplifies the base Blood Moon effect rather than replacing it, and if the standard monthly Blood Moon window (days 13-14) happens to fall inside the festival's Aug 7-21 range, both bonus layers apply at once.

Should new players prioritize seasonal events over core progression? Not early on. If you're still leveling toward the level-60 Tower unlock or working through your first subclass talent tree, core progression should take priority — seasonal events are best treated as bonus content layered on top of your normal routine rather than a reason to pause leveling, since most seasonal cosmetics and currencies don't expire in a way that blocks later progression.

How far in advance are 2027 dates announced? Historically, the next year's Q1 events (the Spring Awakening equivalent) are announced in patch notes roughly 4-6 weeks before they go live, with the full-year calendar typically confirmed incrementally rather than published all at once in January.
